At the Molde University College, we consider data protection in research to be of utmost importance. We adhere to established principles and guidelines to ensure the proper handling of personal data.

Privacy in research

All research projects that contain personal data must be reported to SIKT

SIKT – Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research - is a collaborative body that develops, purchases, and delivers products and services designed to enhance education and research experiences

REK - Regional Committees for Medical and Health Research Ethics

REK assesses whether research projects are ethically defensible to carry out. Preapproval from REK must be sought for all medical and health-related research involving humans, human biological material, or health information.

Information security

All employees should collect and store data in the correct manner to ensure compliance with the law.

Voice recordings and interviews

UiO has developed a dictaphone app for recording audio on smart phones. The app is called «Nettskjema-diktafon» and can be downloaded from Google Play and AppStore.
