About the course
- Introduction to central debates in organization and management theories
- Introduction to key management concepts and how to apply these in practice and in further studies
Students who already passed the examination in ADM900 will not obtain extra credits by taking ADM715 due to overlap.

Key concepts in sport management by Terri Byers, is mandatory for Sports Management students. It is preferable to have read it before the course starts.

The student's learning outcomes after completing the course
Upon finishing the course students should have knowledge of essential debates in the field of organization and management science and be able to relate these to key management and organization concepts. Based on this insight, students are expected to make their independent analyses of organization and management designs, systems and processes

Seminars (1-2 days of duration)
Open exam (commented assignments that may be amended until a given date)
Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam
- 50 % presence in seminars. Attendance can be replaced with a passed special assignment.
- Comment: Mandatory coursework must be completed in the same semester as the course is taught, and then gives access to the ordinary exam. Approved course work also give access to the first "New and retake exam" if such an exam is arranged. The mandatory course work is no longer valid in the future. This means that students who take the course again must do the mandatory course work again.
