About the course
Large infrastructure projects has high risks embedded such as potential cost overruns, late deliveries and poor quality. The assignment is detailed in the contract between the client and contractor. Buying large and unique projects requires attention to the planning process. The course will show different approaches to how projects are planned and contracted, and potential pitfalls from conventional strategies will be shared. Successful projects pay attention to early engagement of specialist resources, as collaborative strategies are spread. The course will focus on how vertical integration can be planned, organised and managed from a procurement perspective.
