LOG718 Preparatory Course in Basic Statistics (Autumn 2021)

About the course

In this course, you will learn the basics of statistics and prepare you for the course LOG708 Applied Statistics with SPSS. The topics are descriptive statistics, probabilities, random variables, sampling and sampling distributions and estimation. If you do not have any /weak knowledge in statistics, we strongly recommend you take this course. Note that LOG708 will start on a higher level and it is presuppose that the students have a basic knowledge in statistics.
This subject is streamed. If it is taught on campus we recommend that you are present in order to get help with the exercises.

AUTUMN 2021:

The course will be held on week 32, 9^th – 14^th of August.

The room is A-2.135 with ZOOM. The time is from 9:15-12:00, and after lunch will be small practical session.
