LOG904-133 Cross Cultural Management (Autumn 2019)

About the course

Course content (abstract): This is a rather interactive seminar covering all aspects of cross cultural communication. Besides theory presentation and showing short videos the seminar also works with many interactive games. Group discussion is very important. There will be no final exam, but there will be individual and group homework and student groups have to produce a short video throughout the week, which will be presented at the very end of the seminar.

 

Topics covered: Cultural awareness, culture theory, stereotypes and prejudices, own cultural background, cross cultural communication, cross-cultural competence, culture shock, cross cultural management
