LOG718 Preparatory Course in Basic Statistics (Autumn 2019)
About the course
In this course, you will learn the basics of statistics and prepare you for the course LOG708 Applied Statistics. The topics are Descriptive Statistics, Probabilities, Random Variables and Probability Distributions, Sampling and Sampling Distributions and Statistical Inference. If you do not have any and/or weak knowledge in statistics, we strongly recommend you take this course. Note that LOG708 will start on a higher level and it is presuppose that the students have a basic knowledge in statistics.
This subject will be streamed, however we recommend that you are present in order to get help on exercises
