LOG904-133 Cross Cultural Management (Autumn 2018)
About the course
This is a rather interactive seminar covering all aspets of cross cultural communication. Besides thory presentation and showing short videos the seminar also works with many interactive games. Group discussion is very important. There will be no final exam, but there will be individual and group homework and student groups have to produce a short video throughout the week, which will be presented at the very end of the seminar.

- Cultural awareness
- Culture theory and models
- Culture differences and comparisons
- Own cultural background
- Cross-cultural communication (misunderstandings and problems)
- Culture shock and dealing with it
While the seminar covers many theoretical aspects of culture many interactive games will be part of our schedule. Students will write short papers reflecting their own culture and cultures they have experienced already.
