LOG904-117 Business Intelligence with SAP (Autumn 2018)

About the course

Information systems capture, generate and store a vast amount of data. With the help of Business intelligence this vast data may be used for analysis and provide valuable input for managers in decision-making process. Business intelligence involves data preparation for analysis: data modeling, loading, cleaning and storage; data analysis and reporting. The focus of this seminar is on managerial or end user perspective of Business Data Warehouse use for data storage, analysis and reporting. The course includes practical cases in SAP ERP Logistic IS and SAP BI. NOTE: Number of participants is limited to 25 students. Prerequisite is successfully completed IBE700 ¿ Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP-systems) course.

Forms of teaching and learning

Hand-in of everyday exercises individually. Final report of 10 pages generated based on real data. This report can be done with a individually or a group of 2 persons.
