The academic year 2024-2025 has two official openings - one in Molde and one in Kristiansund. As a new student, there’s a lot to familiarize yourself with, but don’t worry, we’ll help you get started. The opening week and the buddy system offer a great mix of various get-to-know activities to ensure you have a good start to your student life

The Student Welfare Organization in Molde's student employees can help you get started as a new student.
The students will directly contact those who have received an offer of admission. So if you receive a call from an unknown number, it might be us.

The service center

Faculties
The departments are responsible for all study programs and research at HiMolde. We have divided HiMolde into three departments:

Library
The library provides access to relevant academic literature and is an essential part of the learning environment, offering both group work spaces and quiet reading areas.
You can find the library on the 3rd floor of Building A.
Open Monday to Sunday from 06:00 to 23:00, with staff available Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00.
You'll need an access card or library card to enter when the library is unstaffed.

IT center
As a student, you'll receive a user account with access to Office 365, campus computers, printers, wireless network (eduroam), Studentweb, Canvas, and digital exams.
