This blog will give up to date information about the two-partner project between Høgskolen i Molde and Patandi teachers' collage of special needs education. Authors are both students and staff members from Molde University College and PTC.
From January 2023, the project has expanded. We are now four partners; HVL and Høgskolen i Molde from Norway, and from Tanzania; Patandi Teachers' College of special needs education and The Open University of Tanzania. We have created a new blog: https://cwd122.webnode.page/

Hi everyone! My name is Leah Ndila Wilson. I am a teacher from Mwanza region in Sengerema district. Until June-23, I was a second year student at Patandi teachers college of special needs education, studying Hearing disability. I was also a participant of NOREC project in 2022. I was on exchange in Molde Norway, together with nine students and four staff from Patandi. They all work in different regions in Tanzania.
Elia Mgao is a real agent of change. He has shifted from working at a school with only a few children with different disabilities, to another school that will conduct a program for teenagers who are out of school for different reasons. Nowadays, he is busy making awareness in the society and in the streets, about the right to go to school and about this programme, that is offered for free.
By the Mount Kilimanjaro, in Moshi district, we find Reward Mrindoko Elikaza who is employed as a special needs teacher at Singachini Primary school. His focus is primarily on children’s right to go to school, and facilitation for children with intellectual disability.
The headteacher at Mpilipili primary school is a specialised teacher, a previous project participant and still a hardworking agent of change. We went to Lindi, on the beautiful southern coast of Tanzania to find Seif.
