One case of infection on Molde Campus with a mutated virus - the municipality has the situation under control

A person who was visiting the student housing on the Molde campus last weekend has tested positive for Covid-19. It is a mutated variant of the virus. The person in question is placed in isolation. HiMolde's emergency preparedness team is working with the infection control team in Molde municipality.

The local governments have informed us that they have the situation under control. They have control over all close contacts. Everyone who is to be quarantined is quarantined, and everyone who is to be tested will be tested today. The municipality will issue new information, and possibly new measures, when the results of the tests are available tonight, says university college director Gerd Marit Langøy.
