Back to normal at HiMolde - some measures will continue

The government has removed virtually all infection control measures and Covid-19 restrictions. We will return to normal operation, but it will take place in a proper infection control manner.

Elimination of the requirement for one-meter distance, but ...

At HiMolde, we have previously removed the distance requirement of one meter in lecture rooms, libraries and canteens, so here there are no changes. The change now is that it applies everywhere.

However, it is important that HiMolde is still perceived as a safe place to stay for people in the risk groups:

  • Stay home if you have symptoms
  • Good hand hygiene is still important - alcohol dispensers are still available on both campuses
  • Measures to limit infection

About teaching and exams spring semester 2022

The main rule is now physical attendance at all teaching and supervision. For some studies (especially health and social sciences) there may be a requirement for compulsory attendance, like before the coronary pandemic.

If you are in a risk group, have respiratory symptoms or have a reduced general condition, you can follow the teaching digitally. This can be hybrid teaching/tutoring (physical teaching and simultaneous zoom), recording and later dissemination of teaching/tutoring or various tasks that will compensate for learning losses. You will find information about teaching your subjects in Canvas.

Most exams in the spring of 2022 will be completed as home exams, but some will be physical school exams. See Studentweb (under «note») for info about exam forms on your courses.
