The nominees are:
Professor Lars Magnus Hvattum. Professor Hvattum joined MUC in 2015 as Professor of Quantitative Logistics. Since joining MUC Professor Hvattum has published widely in top journals (UHR Level 2) including the European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Heuristics, and Computers and Operations Research. Professor Hvattum currently serves as an Associate Editor of Omega: The International Journal of Management Science (UHR Level 2).
Professor Alex Krumer. Professor Krumer joined MUC in 2018 as Professor of Sports Economics. Since joining MUC Professor Krumer has published 10 papers and 1 book chapter. Six of these papers are from Level 2 journals according to the Norwegian ranking of academic journals. Professor Krumer currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics.
Professor Alok Mishra. Professor Mishra joined MUC in 2019 as Professor in Informatics and Digitalization. Since joining MUC Professor Mishra has published 15 articles and 1 book chapter. He also served as guest editor for four special issues (all indexed in SCIE with good impact factors).
The winner will be announced at the Opening Ceremony of the Academic year, Wednesday 18 August 2021.
The committee overseeing the process comprised Professor Carlos M.P. Sousa, Professor Harald M. Hjelle, and Associate Professor Karl Yngvar Dale.
