Here you will find several useful, digital services, both services already provided by the HiMolde Library and some new temporary ones that different publishers and database providers have opened or expanded the access to, due to the current Corona-situation:
- We strongly recommend that you use the VPN solution provided by Molde University College, or “remote desktop” to get recognized as a student or employee at Himolde:
- You should do this before you engage a search in Oria.no or any of the library’s databases or in any of the additional services listed below.
- The publisher Edward Elgar have given us temporary access to the e-book editions of the printed books published by them, owned by the library. You can find a complete list of the e-books here.
- Elsevier Textbooks – Over 300 textbooks from Elsevier. The link leads to a Excel spreadsheet containing a list of titles and links to the books at ScienceDirect.
-
Harvard Business Publishing Collection – Full text access to over 600 e-books and 150 articles, covering several fields like economics, finance and marketing.
- Unit has compiled a summary detailing the current accessibility of several different digital resources. These resources are an addition to the resources already provided by the library.
- NB! The summary is in Norwegian, but feel free to check out the links anyway as many of them lead to websites and services in English.
- We would also like to remind you that Google scholar is well worth a shot if you should fail to find full text access to any articles in the before mentioned digital services.
- Our guidance service: “Book a librarian” is still up and running, but any guidance is restricted to a digital format (Zoom, Skype, Teamviewer).
Please contact the library via e-mail to biblioteket@himolde.no if you should have any questions or run in to any problems.
NB! Some of the digital services might be experienced as slow, that’s due to heighten traffic at those sites.
